Details are the essence of a home. Home owners often tell me "as soon as we saw this porch" or "all it took was one look at that fireplace" or "the house wasn't much, but the lot knocked us over". These become the reasons that someone chooses one house over another. Everyone has a very individualized and specific sense of what details make a home "that home".
